After almost one year of exclusive breastfeeding I am worried that the metabolism increasing, weight melting magic has run its course. I have gained 5 pounds in the last month. I am wondering what 500 calories I should eliminate to get back on course now that Esther is eating food and nursing a bit less. Here is what I ate today, let me know what you think.
Muesli with almond milk
Baking chocolate (it is way past time to go grocery shopping)
Quinoa salad with chicken, veggies and dressing (homemade)
Small Turkey burger
More baking chocolate
Fish (oven cooked in salt) accompanied by potato chips (Ivan´s night to cook)
I am thinking that maybe it is the dark meat in the turkey burgers. . .
On an unrelated side note, I have been making cakes just a bit slower than I am able to consume them.
